Commutation 2013 SP1 | Another HTTP 500.0.0 Error
Help!
Nosotros are in the heart of migrating from Exchange 2010 SP3 to Exchange 2013 SP1 and nosotros are existence plagued with HTTP 500 errors on every Commutation 2013 server now.
I take two Client Access servers installed (EXCHFE01 & EXCHFE02) and one backend mailbox server (EXCHMB03) with the Customer Admission role besides installed (for troubleshooting purposes). Once I get everything working I'll install two backend 2013 servers with the mailbox function only for production (load-balanced, clustered, etc). I still have ii Substitution 2010 mailbox servers left since i has a unmarried large mailbox left on information technology and the other hosts public folders. I'll get to migrating those later on. All Substitution 2013 servers are running Windows Server 2012. All are on the same LAN and no firewalls are between them.
On all three 2013 servers (EXCHFE01, EXCHFE02, EXCHMB03) I'k getting the dreaded HTTP 500 fault whether I try to get to OWA or ECP. This did work at one signal where I could at least login to the mailbox server (EXCHMB03) and migrate all my mailboxes over to information technology. Old this morning after the ii Client Access servers were installed the mailbox server stopped working (HTTP 500 errors). This is very frustrating because I tin can't even login to a console to manage Exchange from whatsoever server at this indicate.
Both Client Access servers aren't really showing annihilation of value in the event logs or the IIS logs. The mailbox server (EXCHMB03) does evidence the following issue 3002:

I've tried all sorts of recommended fixes but none take worked so far:
- ADSIEdit and remove msExchCanaryData0 data
- Reinstall Commutation multiple times
- Rebooted multiple times

Exchange 2013 - Quota notifications trouble

First of all I want to limited mild disappointment with the style quota notification alerts are documented on Technet for Commutation 2013. The only reference I could find is that QuotaNotificationSchedule parameter of the Set-MailboxDatabase cmdlet no longer does annihilation: "This parameter has been deprecated in Exchange 2013 and it no longer does anything.".

My experience says that the forum mail service is correct.
Now onto the problem.
While our customer was withal on Substitution 2010 they were the victims of this issue:

Now we have migrated those mailboxes to Exchange 2013 and again, users are not receiving quota notification east-mails. We accept tried CheckWarningQuota on Exchange 2013 but it does nothing. Our theory is that mailbox flag introduced in Exchange 2010 SP1 is migrated with the mailboxes to Exchange 2013 and is the reason why nosotros are not receiving quota notifications again.
I appreciate thoughts and comments.

Need help regarding the location of Commutation 2013 Logs for parsing
Hello, I am trying to create reports based on the logs that are created on my exchange server. I am usingexchange 2013. My problem is that I cannot handle every log, and instead want specific types of logs.
I need help finding the specific locations of the following types of logs (If they fifty-fifty be), so that I can parse them and use them finer:
- Audit Logs (Mailbox logons, Mailbox permission changes, Mailbox property changes, Exchange store changes)
- Postal service Study Logs (Mailbox size and growth, Mailbox storage growth, Enabled users, Expired and Soon-to-Elapse Mailboxes)
- Exchange Traffic Reports (Details on size and corporeality of messages sent and recieved, Internet traffic [to and from], Traffic between substitution users)
I understand this might sound similar a huge undertaking, but any help that can exist provided would be appreciated.
Again, I need information on the locations of these types of logs on the exchange server, so that I can parse them. Collecting them all and searching through them is not practical for my available resources.

Room Finder is not working - neither Online nor Buried Mode
Hi everyone,
since the migration to commutation we have problems with the room finder.
Infrastructure is 2 Commutation 2013 SP1 in a DAG. DNS Round-Robin.
We created a room lists (distribution list non security) for each branch office that has meeting rooms.
Each room list has at least three meeting rooms.
Room finder does not select betwixt the list and shows "none". This happens in Cached style or Online mode. When we work with OWA (which we usally deactivate) you tin select the list and so the free rooms.
Gratis Busy is working. When i apply the scheduling assistant and add together all rooms i can see the the infomations for all rooms.
Can anyone assist with troubleshooting ?

Cannot delete Public Folder that is flagged as Hold for Migration
I am attempting to remove a public folder mailbox per this KB article

Presently there is one Public Folder mailbox that is held for migration. I decided non to migrate whatever public folders over considering nosotros desire to structure it differently. So I need to remove the mailbox presently there flagged as held. This is a secondary bureaucracy mailbox. There is no primary.
When I run
Get-Mailbox -PublicFolder | where {$_.IsRootPublicFolderMailbox -eq $False} | Remove-Mailbox –PublicFolder
I receive
Public folder replication has been delayed. Please wait until replication is complete earlier you remove this public folder mailbox. Replication could accept up to an hour. If yous remove the mailbox before replication is consummate, your public folder deployment could exist in an inconsistent state.
I have been unable to discover a workaround for this.

RBAC to create mailbox
Hi all,
I desire to create new part group (RG) for my Branch Ambassador so they can create user + mailbox simply they must not alter the policy quota size.
I already create the RG in my production server then I assigned Post Recipientsand Mail Recipient Creation, only somehow when create mailbox it said access denied. Only I can create user from ADUC and enable mailbox (utilise existing user) from ECP.
I'chiliad using Commutation 2013 SP1. I try on my lab, it works, what could probably incorrect in my production server ?

How-do-you-do,
I am unable to assign Send As permissions in Exchange Admin Center or through the Exchange Management Shell. Both produce the same mistake message: Active Directory functioning failed on server.domain.Local. This error is not retriable. Boosted information: Access is denied. Active directory response: 00000005: SecErr: DSID-031521E1, trouble 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0
I establish other posts well-nigh the same issue and a resolution of adding the permissions through ADUC which worked but if the selection is in the EAC, shouldn't it work at that place? This seems like a bug?

I have newly installed Exchange 2013 server and I saw this Events logs full with this warning.
ping of mdb 'f0583cf2-caea-4644-8c98-0a466ce1cded' timed out later on '00:00:00' minutes . Last successful ping was at '1/30/2013 11:53:27 AM' UTC .

Nosotros added some user accounts to the 'Recipient Management' grouping and noticed that these accounts are not able to connect mailboxes by using the ECP in Commutation 2013. The dialog box that pops up just stays white.

I am about to setup a pilot and wanted to ask a few questions.
I am planning a multi-domain exchange deployment...where I am hosting my main email on site with a domain of company.com and I want to host 1.visitor.com and two.visitor.com on my office 365 Exchange online implementation. To practise this practise I have to define the new domains on my current substitution server and then setup the users on office 365?
ane of the things that my user base wants is single sign on but they won't be using rich clients. I know this works well for rich clients, merely can unmarried sign on also sign on to Office 365 web and one drive?
I will be implementing ADFS and DIrSync for Advert replication and ADFS for single sign on.
How does licensing work? if my entire directory replicates to Office 365 and I only desire some users over there activated, how do those I want activated. Can I hands activated a bunch of users for but some services at one time? If I deactivate or delete an account locally, will those changes accept at office 365? How does that work with licensing? practise my licenses get automatically freed up?

Configuring Exchange 2013 resource so that Outlook 2013 clients can but request to schedule a meeting
Hello,
Nosotros have a regular cease user - not an exchange admin or anything fancy. They are non a delegate of the room in outlook. They don't have send on behalf or full access in ECP for the room. However for some reason the room accepts meetings this person schedules while people with Outlook 2007 don't seem to have the same level of access. Nosotros would like to make it so their only option is to request to schedule a meeting in that room - not actually create a meeting in that room.

I need an assistance, I have a single E2K13 and mail transaction logs are at the aforementioned folder the edb file.
In a maintance window I dismounted the database, checked the database clean condition and then deleted, not copied or movied, the folder content.
And so I noticied there was not file within the folder, even the EDB file....yeah, very dumb.
I went to Recycle Bin and verified the logs were there except the EDB file, that had 115 GB.
My question is:
- the Windows server 2012 Recycle Bin doesn´t store that size and then my EDB file was deleted for ever?
- if the respond is aye, can I use any recovery deleted file software to rescue the EDB?
